Presentation Guideline

We would like to congratulate you on being selected to present a paper in APCAT-8 and thank you very much for your contribution. This guideline will help you towards a presentation that will deliver your message effectively. Your cooperation in adhering to the guidelines provided in this document will help produce an informative and trouble-free technical presentation.

1. Preparing for Poster Presentation
For posters, there is no conference template.?Size of the poster board: 118.9 cm height and 84.1 cm width (portrait orientation, A0). Posters should be prepared so that they are intelligible in themselves.
You should hang your poster based on the program time table and stand in front of the poster at the allocated time of the conference program to introduce your research to others. Remove your poster at the time according to the program.
At the upper left corner of the poster board, the organizer will indicate the number of the contribution and the author’s name (can be removed by the author).?Material for fixing the posters will be provided.

2. Preparing for Oral Presentation
Good visuals can amplify and clarify a message, stimulate interest and often help the speaker keep on track. However, visual aids should be for the benefit of the audience, not the speaker. It is annoying not to be able to read or comprehend a speaker’s visual aids.
     ? Timing
Each speaker is allotted 10-12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions and answers, (please follow the announcement from the conference committee for any update or changes in presentation time).
     ? Equipment and Presentation Tips
A laptop computer, audio line, laser pointer and LCD projector with screen will be provided.
? File Uploaded and Check In
Our staff will assist you to upload your presentation file(s). Please contact your session moderator at least 10 minutes before beginning of the session.
